IMPORTANT: This ac and heating system must have ALL units set to either COOL or HEAT. If one is changed manually or by switching to AUTO mode, the entire system will shut down .

Now that we are though the super important stuff... You will find The RANGE Beach house to remain a fairly steady temperature both day and night via the newly installed Samsung heat pump. Some important things to know...

• While you can power off any of the 3 heating/cooling units (one in each downstairs bedroom and one upstairs)... as mentioned above, Please leave all units in either COOL or HEAT mode while running! The 3 head units must ALL run in either cool or heat — otherwise the heat pump will shut down and require a circuit breaker reset. Sounds kinda odd I know, but that's just how these things work!

• Set it and forget it is really the best way to go with this system. It will continue to circulate air and dehumidify the house. We find that 66f is optimal for comfortable day / night climate conditions. But do feel free to make adjustments as needed.

• We have the ability to make adjustments to the temperature controls remotely if any help is needed.

During the Summer months you can totally ignore these things. But if you are curious... The 2 wall-mounted dial thermostats in the house are currently turned off. They control the electric baseboard heat - which we re-activate in the winter as a 'backup' heat source in the house.
